Camel trek in Merzouga

In the morning, we depart from your hotel in Ouarzazate towards the dunes of Merzouga, passing through the oasis of Skoura, where we stop to visit the historic Kasbah of Amridil. Our journey continues along the valley of roses and the famed road of a thousand kasbahs, leading us through the scenic Dades valley to the breathtaking Todra gorge, where we pause for lunch. In the afternoon, we head to Merzouga, where an unforgettable camel ride awaits, taking us across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi (250m). From the dune tops, the sunset is a spectacular sight. At Erg Chebbi, we will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a luxury desert camp under the starry sky.

Rise early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we set off on our journey back to Ouarzazate, passing through the villages of Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, and N’kob, where we pause for lunch. In the afternoon, we travel along the scenic Draa valley, following the historic caravan route lined with endless palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Rejoining the main road in Agdez, we traverse the rugged landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-n-Tinfifite pass (1,660m) before arriving in Ouarzazate by evening.
